Children Critical Illness Coverage
When an illness strikes, it affects the whole family.
Children360 basic coverage consists of either:
- 1. Critical Illness Coverage; or
- 2. Critical Illness Coverage or Life Insurance (Payable at 1st event)
1. Critical Illness Coverage
If your child is diagnosed with one of the specified critical illnesses covered by this policy, the insurer will issue a Critical Illness benefit. This payment will be reduced by any partial critical illness benefits that may have already been disbursed.
Conditions for payment
- The critical illness must align with the definition of a Covered Critical Illness, adhering to all specified limitations and exclusions.
- The illness should not manifest during the moratorium period specified for the Covered Critical Illness.
- All necessary disclosures regarding the Covered Critical Illness must be fully complied with.
- A medical specialist must confirm the diagnosis of the Covered Critical Illness.
- The insured individual must survive for a period of thirty (30) days following the diagnosis.
2. Critical Illness Coverage or Life Insurance (Payable at 1st event)
Two insurances in one package
This insurance policy offers a dual-benefit package. During the active coverage period, the insurer will provide payment for one of these two (2) benefits:
Critical Illness Insurance
If your child is diagnosed with a critical illness that is included under the policy’s coverage, the insurer will issue a payment as detailed in the Schedule of Benefits.
This amount will be adjusted to account for any Partial Payout Critical Illness benefits already paid.
Payment Conditions:
- The critical illness must conform to the policy’s definition of a covered critical illness, along with all its associated limitations and exclusions.
- The illness should not have occurred during any applicable moratorium period for the covered critical illness.
- All required disclosures concerning the covered critical illness, as outlined in the policy, must be fulfilled.
- The diagnosis of the covered critical illness must be confirmed by a medical specialist.
Life Insurance
If your child unfortunately passes away, the insurer will provide a death benefit as specified in the Schedule of Benefits. This payment will be adjusted to deduct any Partial Payout Critical Illness benefits that have already been disbursed.
